“Alby is a little sh*t head with some massive ego. But when you get to know him, he’s actually one of the funniest and kindest people around. He’s very supportive of his team and friends. He fights like a ninja and kicks serious asses. The one thing I admire most about Alby is that he never lets losses bring him down, but instead he comes back way stronger. I will stop now before his head gets too big. Oh and I guess he looks alright in neon pink. ? “- Carmen He

“Team captain hits hard, trains hard and parties hard. Great bloke and I might even give him my shorts one day.” – Fei Yen

“I known Albert since he was 19 years old, he started with me at Young Bulls from Day One, introduced by his good friend Anthony Trejo. He came into my gym as ‘Fat Albert’ and was playing footy back then. Then he started training Muay Thai, a couple of years went by and he wanted to fight. Competing from amateur to the A grade professional. Won two WBC state title belts, he had around 30+ fights now. He is a hard-working young man and is always willing to learn new things. He trains with me here and then went to Thailand for 6 months at Kiatphontip fighting all the high-level fighters on Max Muaythai in Pattaya and he is the first person to coach the Timorese team. A few years ago, he won bronze medallist at the world amateur Muaythai championship in Bangkok. Albert is like a son to me. He got charisma, he’s a funny dude, putting funny faces on Instagram.” – Coach Laos Toohey

“Esse paneleiro 24 e’ com certeza uma das pessoas mais legais da AMMA, sempre alegre e ajudando a todos. Como lutador semprer faz um grande show e tem o respeito de todos Meu irmao preto.”- Coach Thiago Stefanutti

“Whoever says “those that can’t do teach” has clearly never met Alby. Gun pad holder, amazing mentor, and inspiration to everyone at the CBD. Blessed to have him in my corner.”- Georgia Verry
