Q: What is Personal Training?
A: Personal Training can be whatever you would like it to be!

You can use PT sessions to take your combat sports to the next level, work on your strength, fitness or physique, rehab an injury or get help with your diet. Personal Training sessions are tailored specifically to your needs and to your goals.

Q: How do I get started?
A: The first step is to simply fill out the form on this page so one of our trainers can get in touch to arrange a time for a meeting.

Generally your first session will involve an assessment of your current abilities and condition and then we make a clear plan to help you progress towards your goals.

Q: How much does Personal Training cost?
A: The cost of PT sessions varies based on the level of the coach and your training frequency. Discounts are also available for purchasing PT sessions in bulk. For an accurate quote please contact us via the form on this page.

Q: Can I choose my own coach?
A: Of course, it is completely up to you who you train with. If you are unsure who you would like to work with, we also have a Personal Training Manager who can help you work out who is the best fit for you, your training and your progression.

Q: What coaches are available for Personal Training?
A: All of our coaches are available for Personal Training however prices and availability can vary.

Q: Where can I do personal training?
A: Personal training is available at any Absolute MMA location however coaches and facilities at each location does vary.

Q: When can I train?
A: One of the best things about personal training is that you can sit down with your coach and plan your training around your own personal schedule.

Q: Do I have to be fit to start personal training?
A: Of course not. The aim of personal training is to push you to achieve your goals as quickly as possible in the safest way. Working with a coach 1:1 will get you fitter faster. Our coaches take clients from all different skill and experience levels.

Q: What type of people get 1:1 training?
A: People hire trainers to motivate them (having a set time and appointment you have to go to the gym means you are more likely to train), gain knowledge (our coaches will educate you on how to move, how the body works and why we go through the movements we do), gain that extra little push (you will always work harder when you are being pushed and have someone there to spot you) and to take responsibility (with a coach all you have to go is turn up and do what they say, no worrying about a program, what you should train or what weights you should be lifting, a coach will take all of this into consideration for you and give you the best session ever).

Q: How often should I train with a coach 1:1?
A: This varies and is dependent on your time and budget. Some clients train once a week others train 4 times a week. We recommend training 2 or more times a week with a coach to see maximum benefits. If possible, we recommend booking for the same time every week and sticking to it.

Q: How long are the sessions?
A: Again this can vary depending on your coach, time and budget. Sessions can run from 45-60 minutes.
