A special holiday schedule is in effect from Saturday, December 24 through until Monday, January 2nd.
Kids classes will finish up on Tuesday, December 20 with adults finishing up on Friday, December 23. Regular timetables for both children and adults will resume Tuesday, January 3rd.

Please note that due to the BJJ Grading, Absolute Fight Day #2 and End of Year Party in Collingwood this Saturday there will be no classes at any Absolute location.
Absolute MMA girls made history at the 2016 IBJJF World Nogi Championship in San Francisco, USA!
Three girls from Absolute MMA entered the Blue Belt Lightweight division and the results are simply phenomenal!
Pippa Shaw – Gold medal
Nikki Lloyd-Griffiths – Silver medal
Sarah Chapman – Bronze medal
What a day for Australian Jiu Jitsu! We are super proud of you!
The girls weren’t the only stars for the day though as coach Mikael Yahaya took bronze and Cooper Burnham also took bronze!
Congratulations to all the competitors on their outstanding results and thank you to the amazing team of coaches and teammates for supporting them!
Please note that there will be no classes at any Absolute location on Tuesday, November 1 due to the Melbourne Cup Public Holiday.
South Yarra will host a Gi BJJ seminar on the Worm Guard with Andre Galvao black belt Andris Brunovskis from 10AM. The seminar will be open to all and tickets are $50, payable at the door. South Yarra will also host an open mat from 12PM.
The CBD will be open for an open mat/open gym from 12PM to 2PM.
Collingwood will be closed for the day.
Classes will run as normal on Monday, October 31st.

Due to the Grand Final public holiday there will be no classes at any Absolute location this Friday, September 30th.
South Yarra will be holding a BJJ open mat from 5PM to 7PM.
Collingwood (that’s 134 Cromwell Street in Collingwood if you have not yet been there) will have Muay Thai sparring from 10AM to 11.30AM and will also be hosting a special fundraising BJJ seminar with Abmar Barbosa from 10AM to 11AM before comp training runs from 11AM to 12.30PM.
There will be no open mats or open gyms in the CBD.
Classes will resume as normal on Saturday.
One of the greatest grappling coaches in the world today, John Danaher comes to Absolute MMA Collingwood to teach a no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/submission grappling seminar!
John has truly arrived on the world stage in the past couple years with his students Garry Tonon and Eddie Cummings taking submission grappling and especially footlocks to new heights! John is also a very highly regarded coach of submission grappling for MMA, coaching the likes of Georges St-Pierre and Chris Weidman!

Our biggest facility yet is now under construction at 134 Cromwell Street in Collingwood and is scheduled to open in mid September!
Things have progressed quite a lot from the photo but it should give you an idea of the size we are working with! We have huge plans for the gym and we will reveal details as things get finished over the coming weeks.
