On Sunday, 21st of October three of our boxing team members were matched and set to enter the ring!
Regrettably, Ankur was unable to fight as his opponent pulled out, however we would like to congratulate both Michael Cordner and Liam McNeill on a job well done! Both of you displayed your skill and and controlled the boxing ring with good footwork and tactics.
Michael fought well against a tough opponent and took away a win for the team! Congratulations on your result Michael!In his debut amateur boxing match, Liam looked impressive against a tough opponent and pushed through, however sustained a loss via decision in the end. Great to see Liam evolving as a fighter in Boxing after a decorated career in Muay Thai! We look forward to seeing where this road takes you!
