The Classes
A MMA class will generally start with a warm-up, specific movements including shoulder rolls, wrestling steps, pummeling and more.
The participants will develop their skills with a number of training exercises including drills, specific training, pad work and contact training. The content of the class will vary from week to week, keeping the class fresh and interesting, focusing on all aspects of Mixed Martial Arts.
As the program moves forward, students will often have the opportunity to apply what you have learned with light, controlled drills. The objective with drills is to test their skills, to apply what they have learned in the class and to have some fun – it is not to hurt each other. All drilling sessions are closely monitored by the coaches so the students are able to learn and improve in a safe and positive environment.
