THE CLASSES

KETTLEBELL AND BARBELL STRENGTH

Kettlebell Strength and Barbell Strength classes use the implements for which they are named and are all about lifting heavy and coaching you safely towards setting new personal bests.

Classes are designed around four key movements; the push, the pull, the squat and the hip hinge with plenty of form and technique coaching. Being strong and efficient in these movements are key for everyday life, martial arts and injury prevention.

Each class will focus on one of these key movements with accessory exercises to complement the primary lift. Each workout will run for a month and coaches log your lifts in every class to help you track your progress. Every month the lifts will change to keep things fresh.

KETTLEBELL CIRCUIT

Kettlebell circuits are designed to be a testing full-body workout. The classes are based around a timed circuit utilising all major muscle groups and the goal is to get through the circuit as fast as possible. Most exercises within circuits are compound exercises (ie. working more than one muscle group at once) as this is generally how we apply our strength outside of the gym.

Circuits will give you the accomplishment of a great cardio workout without the bore of the treadmill but don’t get us wrong; even though there is a high focus on time you will definitely get the feeling that you have lifted some weight!

Circuits will change every month and progress of weights and circuit times will be tracked in every session to keep you motivated and pushing yourself harder each and every week.
